Effective Date: August 16, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of WordPress Plugin Publisher (“Publisher,” the “App,” or the “Service”), provided by Heavens Love LLC (“Heavens Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, purchasing, activating, or using Publisher, you agree to these Terms.
1. WordPress Plugin Publisher
Publisher is a software application designed to assist developers with creating, preparing, validating, managing, and publishing WordPress plugin releases.
Publisher may provide integrations or workflows involving third-party services such as WordPress.org and GitHub.
Publisher is an independent product of Heavens Love LLC unless expressly stated otherwise. It is not endorsed by or affiliated with WordPress.org, the WordPress Foundation, Automattic, GitHub, or other third-party platforms merely because it interoperates with those services.
2. Platform Requirements
Publisher is currently available for macOS.
You are responsible for maintaining compatible hardware, operating system software, internet connectivity, accounts, credentials, and third-party services necessary to use Publisher.
3. License to Use Publisher
Subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase or subscription terms, Heavens Love LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Publisher for its intended purpose.
The number of permitted devices or activations may depend upon the license you purchase.
Publisher is licensed, not sold.
4. Trials and Subscriptions
Publisher may be offered through a free trial followed by a paid annual subscription. Trial periods, subscription billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, license expiration, and refunds are governed by the Billing, Free Trial, Annual Renewal & Cancellation provisions of these Terms and the purchase terms presented at checkout.
That gives us one authoritative billing section, which is much safer than repeating the rules throughout the Terms.
And the three most important customer-facing promises become extremely clear:
Cancel before Day 7 → no initial annual charge.
Cancel before the annual renewal date → no next-year charge.
License expires → publishing stops, but the developer’s projects and files remain completely theirs.
5. Billing, Free Trial, Annual Renewal & Cancellation
1. Free Trial
WordPress Plugin Publisher may be offered with a 7-day free trial.
During the trial period, you may use Publisher’s available functionality to evaluate the Software before the first annual subscription charge.
Unless you cancel before the end of the 7-day trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid annual subscription and the payment method associated with your purchase will be charged the annual subscription price disclosed at checkout.
To avoid the initial annual subscription charge, you must cancel before your 7-day free trial ends.
2. Annual Subscription
Following the free trial, WordPress Plugin Publisher is provided through a paid annual subscription.
Your annual subscription includes access to Publisher’s licensed publishing functionality, available software updates, compatibility updates, new features, and technical support during the active subscription period, subject to these Terms.
3. Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew each year unless canceled before your annual renewal date.
By maintaining an active subscription, you authorize our authorized commerce provider to charge the applicable annual subscription price, plus any applicable taxes, to the payment method associated with your subscription at each renewal.
To avoid being charged for the next annual subscription period, you must cancel your subscription before your annual renewal date.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the subscription or account-management facilities provided with your purchase.
Cancellation does not ordinarily terminate an annual license immediately. If you cancel during an already-paid annual subscription period, your Publisher license will remain active through the end of that paid period.
Cancellation prevents the subscription from automatically renewing for an additional year.
At the conclusion of the paid subscription period, Publisher will enter the License Expired state described below unless the subscription is renewed.
5. License Expiration
Publisher requires an active annual license for full publishing functionality.
If your annual subscription expires or is not renewed, Publisher will enter a limited License Expired state. Publishing functionality, including creating new releases and publishing to WordPress.org or GitHub, will remain unavailable until the license is renewed.
Certain non-publishing areas of Publisher may remain accessible, including Project Library, Release Timeline, license management, and Support.
Expiration of your Publisher license does not delete, modify, restrict, or transfer ownership of your plugin projects, source code, repositories, previously created ZIP files, or other files. Your work remains yours.
Renewing your annual subscription restores Publisher’s licensed publishing functionality and eligibility for currently available updates, compatibility releases, new features, and technical support.
Publisher may periodically validate license status to determine continued eligibility to use licensed functionality.
6. Refunds
The 7-day free trial is provided so that you can evaluate WordPress Plugin Publisher before the initial annual subscription charge.
Because Publisher can be evaluated during the free trial, annual subscription payments are generally non-refundable once charged, except where a refund is required by applicable law or where Heavens Love LLC determines, in its discretion, that exceptional circumstances warrant a refund.
Canceling an annual subscription after payment has been processed prevents the next annual renewal but does not ordinarily result in a refund for the current annual subscription period.
Nothing in this provision limits any refund or cancellation rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
7. Billing and Subscription Management
Purchases, subscription billing, renewals, payment processing, license management, and related transactions may be administered by an authorized third-party commerce provider.
You may be required to use that provider’s customer portal or account-management services to update payment information, retrieve purchase information, manage your subscription, or cancel automatic renewal.
Additional terms and privacy policies of the applicable commerce provider may apply to services it provides.
8. Price Changes
We may change the price of Publisher or its subscription plans in the future.
Any change affecting an existing customer’s future renewal will be communicated or presented as required by applicable law before the new price is charged.
6. License Keys and Activation
Publisher may require a valid license key or other activation credential.
You agree not to share, resell, reproduce, circumvent, manipulate, or otherwise misuse license keys or activation systems.
Activation limits may apply.
7. Publishing Actions
Publisher performs potentially significant operations on files and repositories at your direction.
These operations may include creating ZIP archives, modifying release copies, updating repository files, preparing SVN working copies, committing changes, creating tags, updating README or changelog information, and publishing releases.
You remain responsible for reviewing and approving your plugin and release before publication.
You are also responsible for maintaining appropriate backups or version-control history for important projects and repositories.
8. WordPress.org and GitHub
Your use of WordPress.org, GitHub, and other third-party services remains subject to their respective terms, policies, technical requirements, and account restrictions.
We cannot guarantee that a third-party service will accept a release or remain available or compatible indefinitely.
Third parties may change their APIs, authentication systems, publishing requirements, repository structures, or services without our control.
9. Credentials and Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of credentials used with Publisher.
You must have authorization to access and publish to any repository or account you connect to Publisher.
You are responsible for activity performed using your accounts and credentials.
10. Acceptable Use
You may not use Publisher to gain unauthorized access to accounts or repositories; distribute malicious software; intentionally interfere with third-party systems; violate applicable laws; circumvent Publisher’s licensing mechanisms; or infringe the intellectual-property or other rights of another person.
11. Ownership
Publisher, including its application design, source code, branding, documentation, and proprietary technology, is owned by Heavens Love LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Publisher to you.
Your plugins, source code, repositories, and other content remain yours.
12. Updates
We may release updates that add, modify, improve, or remove functionality.
Because Publisher interacts with operating systems and external publishing services that evolve over time, updates may occasionally be necessary to maintain compatibility.
Access to updates may depend upon your applicable license or subscription.
13. Support
Technical support is available according to the support terms associated with your license or subscription.
Publisher may provide a built-in support mechanism that prepares system information useful for diagnosing technical problems. You choose whether to send the resulting support request.

14. Availability and Changes
We work to make Publisher reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We may modify Publisher when necessary to improve functionality, maintain compatibility, address security concerns, or accommodate changes made by third-party services.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Publisher is provided “as is” and “as available.”
We disclaim warranties not expressly provided by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that every plugin release will be accepted, published, or processed successfully by WordPress.org, GitHub, or another third-party service.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heavens Love LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Publisher, including loss of profits, data, repository contents, business opportunities, or access to third-party services.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Heavens Love LLC from claims arising from your unlawful use of Publisher, infringement of third-party rights, unauthorized publishing activity, or violation of these Terms.
18. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Publisher where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, material violation of these Terms, unlawful activity, or misuse of our licensing systems.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Publisher evolves.
When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the website, Publisher, email, or another reasonable method.
Continued use following the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance where permitted by applicable law.
