End User License Agreement

WordPress Plugin Publisher
Effective Date: August 16, 2026

This End User License Agreement (“Agreement” or “EULA”) is a legal agreement between you (“you” or “Licensee”) and Heavens Love LLC (“Heavens Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your download, installation, activation, and use of WordPress Plugin Publisher (“Publisher” or the “Software”).

By downloading, installing, activating, purchasing, or using Publisher, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use Publisher.

1. License Grant

Subject to this Agreement and your maintenance of a valid license or subscription where required, Heavens Love LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use Publisher for its intended purpose.

Publisher is licensed, not sold.

Your license permits you to use Publisher to prepare, manage, validate, package, and publish WordPress plugins and associated software projects that you own or are authorized to manage.

2. Platform

Publisher is currently developed for and available on macOS.

Compatibility may depend upon your Mac hardware, macOS version, internet connectivity, third-party software, and the requirements of services used with Publisher.

System requirements may change as Publisher evolves.

3. Device Activations

Your license may permit activation on a specified number of computers.

The number of permitted activations will be identified with the license, subscription, or purchase plan you select.

You may not intentionally circumvent activation limits or use a single-user license to provide unauthorized access to Publisher to other users.

Where supported, you may deactivate Publisher on one computer and activate it on another, subject to applicable license limits.

4. Free Trials

Publisher may be offered with a limited free trial.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, trial users receive access to Publisher for the specified trial period.

At the conclusion of a trial, continued use may require an active paid subscription or license.

If payment information is collected when beginning a trial, your subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless canceled beforehand, according to the terms displayed when you enroll.

5. Subscription Licenses

Publisher may be offered under an annual subscription license.

An active subscription may include continued use of Publisher, software updates, compatibility updates, and support according to the terms of the applicable plan.

Subscriptions may automatically renew unless canceled before the applicable renewal date.

Billing, renewal, cancellation, and subscription-management services may be provided by our authorized commerce provider.

6. License Keys

Publisher may require a license key or other activation credential.

License keys are provided solely for use by the authorized license holder and within the activation limits associated with the applicable purchase.

You may not sell, publish, distribute, share, duplicate, manipulate, or otherwise make a license key available for unauthorized use.

Lost license keys may be recoverable through the customer or purchase-management services associated with your order.

7. Permitted Use

You may use Publisher to perform legitimate software-development and publishing activities, including:

• creating plugin release packages;
• validating WordPress plugin releases;
• preparing WordPress.org repositories;
• publishing authorized plugins through WordPress.org SVN;
• preparing and publishing authorized GitHub repositories;
• creating version tags and releases;
• maintaining README and changelog information;
• managing plugin directory artwork;
• maintaining release and repository information; and
• performing other functions made available by Publisher.

You must have the legal right and appropriate authorization to modify or publish any project, repository, or account you use with Publisher.

8. Restrictions

Except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise, you may not copy or redistribute Publisher except as expressly authorized; rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or commercially distribute access to Publisher; circumvent or disable licensing or activation mechanisms; use unauthorized license keys; modify Publisher for the purpose of defeating licensing or security protections; use Publisher to obtain unauthorized access to another person’s repository or account; use Publisher to knowingly distribute malware or unlawful material; or use Publisher in violation of applicable law.

Nothing in this Agreement restricts rights that cannot legally be restricted under applicable law.

9. Your Plugins Remain Yours

Heavens Love LLC does not acquire ownership of your WordPress plugins, source code, repositories, artwork, documentation, or other projects merely because you use Publisher to work with them.

Your projects remain yours or the property of their respective owners.

Publisher is a tool used to prepare and publish those projects.

10. Local Files and Repositories

Publisher may access files, folders, Git repositories, SVN working copies, ZIP archives, artwork, and other resources that you select or configure.

Publisher may modify files or repositories when necessary to perform actions you request.

Depending upon the operation, Publisher may create or update release files, version information, documentation, changelogs, repository contents, tags, commits, or other publishing artifacts.

You are responsible for reviewing a release before publishing it.

We strongly recommend maintaining appropriate source-control history and backups for important projects.

11. Publishing Operations

Publisher is designed to simplify complex publishing operations.

However, publishing software inherently involves changes to files and remote repositories.

You remain responsible for determining that a release is correct and appropriate for publication.

Features such as validation, repository preparation, Publishing Intelligence, or a “Ready to Publish” indication are intended to assist you. They are not a guarantee that a release contains no defects or that a third-party service will accept it.

12. Credentials

Publisher may use secure operating-system facilities, including the macOS Keychain, to store supported credentials.

You are responsible for protecting your WordPress.org, GitHub, and other credentials and accounts.

You may only connect Publisher to accounts and repositories you are authorized to access.

13. Third-Party Services

Publisher may interact with third-party services, including WordPress.org and GitHub.

Your use of those services is governed separately by their respective terms, policies, and requirements.

Heavens Love LLC does not control those services and cannot guarantee their continued availability, functionality, compatibility, authentication methods, APIs, repository requirements, or publishing policies.

Publisher’s compatibility may occasionally require updates in response to changes made by third parties.

14. Updates

Heavens Love LLC may provide maintenance releases, feature updates, compatibility updates, security updates, and new versions of Publisher.

Availability of updates may depend upon your license or subscription status.

We may modify Publisher when reasonably necessary to maintain compatibility with macOS, WordPress.org, GitHub, or other technologies upon which Publisher depends.

15. Support

Support may be provided to users with an eligible license or subscription.

Publisher may include a Support feature that prepares technical system information to assist with troubleshooting. You control whether you send the resulting support request.

16. Ownership of Publisher

Publisher, including its source code, application design, user interface, graphics, documentation, branding, architecture, and proprietary technology, is owned by Heavens Love LLC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited license expressly granted by this Agreement, no ownership interest in Publisher is transferred to you.

17. Feedback

If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback concerning Publisher, you grant Heavens Love LLC permission to use that feedback to develop, improve, and operate Publisher without an obligation to compensate you.

This does not give us ownership of your plugins, source code, or other projects.

18. Suspension or Termination

Your license may be suspended or terminated if you materially violate this Agreement, engage in fraud or unlawful activity involving Publisher, intentionally circumvent Publisher’s licensing system, or use a license without authorization.

Upon termination of your license, you must cease using Publisher where required by applicable law and the terms of your license.

Sections concerning ownership, restrictions, liability, and other provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

19. License/Subscription Expiration and Renewal

Publisher requires an active annual license for full publishing functionality.

If your annual license expires or is not renewed, Publisher will enter a limited License Expired state. Publishing functionality, including creating new releases and publishing to WordPress.org or GitHub, will remain unavailable until the license is renewed.

While your license is expired, Publisher may continue to provide access to certain non-publishing areas of the application, including your Project Library, Release Timeline, license management, and Support.

Expiration of your Publisher license does not delete, modify, restrict, or transfer ownership of your plugin projects, source code, repositories, previously created ZIP files, or other files. Your work remains yours.

Renewing your annual license restores Publisher’s publishing functionality and provides access to currently available updates, compatibility releases, new features, and technical support according to the terms of your license.

Heavens Love LLC may require Publisher to periodically validate license status in order to determine continued eligibility to use licensed publishing functionality.

20. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Publisher is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind except those that cannot legally be excluded.

Heavens Love LLC does not guarantee that Publisher will be uninterrupted or error-free; every plugin will successfully pass third-party validation; every release will be accepted by WordPress.org or GitHub; third-party services will remain compatible with Publisher; or Publisher will identify every possible problem within a plugin or release.

21. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Heavens Love LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to Publisher.

This includes, without limitation, loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, source code, repository contents, credentials, releases, or access to third-party services.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and version-control practices.

Where liability cannot legally be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

22. Export and Legal Compliance

You agree to use Publisher in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including applicable export-control and sanctions laws.

You may not use Publisher where its use would violate applicable law.

23. Changes to this Agreement

We may update this EULA to reflect changes to Publisher, licensing, applicable law, security requirements, or third-party integrations.

When a material change is made, we may provide notice through Publisher, our website, email, or another reasonable method.

24. Entire Agreement

This EULA, together with any applicable Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, purchase terms, and subscription terms, constitutes the agreement governing your use of Publisher.

If specific purchase or subscription terms conflict with this EULA, those specific terms will govern the applicable purchase or subscription to the extent of the conflict.
